Class Times & Pickup for Cranford Families
Cubs (Ages 4–6)
3:30 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM slots on weekdays. Classes run 30–40 minutes.
Monday–Friday | Pick up before 6:30 PM
Lions (Ages 7–13)
3:30 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM. Classes run 45–50 minutes with real BJJ technique and controlled rolling.
Monday–Friday | Pick up before 7 PM
All slots include free on-site parking. Drop off and pick up from the same lot. No running between buildings, no searching for spots.
What Happens in After-School Class
Arrival & Reset
First 5 minutes: kids decompress from the school day. We let them move, settle, get water. Transition is part of the lesson.
Warm-up & Conditioning
10 minutes of movement — crawling patterns, running drills, coordination work. Burns off the pent-up school-day energy.
Technique & Drilling
20 minutes of real jiu-jitsu. One technique per class, taught carefully, practiced with partners. Progression is real.
Controlled Rolling & Games
10 minutes of live practice. Kids test what they learned against resistance. This is where confidence actually builds.
Cool-down & Dismissal
Final 5 minutes: calm stretch, breathwork, bow out. Kids leave settled, not wired. Parents see a noticeably calmer kid than they dropped off.
