This is where students come to train with Jamal Patterson, a Renzo Gracie black belt, ADCC veteran, and former professional MMA fighter who fought in the IFL and Bellator and won the UWC Light Heavyweight Championship.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is our foundation. Most students start with zero experience. You'll train in small groups, drilling positions, escapes, submissions — building a system that works. Evening classes run 6, 7, and 8 PM to fit working schedules.
The difference is the coach. Jamal's competition background — ADCC, pro MMA (IFL, Bellator), UWC champion — isn't decoration. Every technique is tested against resistance. Every drill prepares for real scenarios.
Muay Thai for Adults
This is unique to AllStar in Union County. You won't find authentic Muay Thai instruction anywhere else nearby. Real pad work — not cardio kickboxing. Real technique from day one. Standing clinch work, elbow strikes, shin conditioning. Beginners are welcome and will find their level.
MMA for Adults
Complete fighting system. BJJ in the first half — core to everything. Muay Thai and wrestling in the second half. Built for athletes who want a full toolbox. Coached by Jamal, who's cornered UFC fighters from amateur debut through the pros. Ages 16 and up.
Martial Arts for Kids — Union
Cubs — Ages 4–6
Preschool-age energy with martial arts structure. Short activities, high engagement, constant positive reinforcement. Focus on coordination, listening, and confidence. Most parents watch from the lobby during class.
Lions — Ages 7–13
Real Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technique. Not katas. Takedowns, escapes, positions, submissions. These kids learn a system that works. Parents consistently report the confidence carries into school — better focus, better social dynamics, better ability to handle conflict.
